MESA Registration Intake Form
MESA Registration Intake Form
Indicates required field
To help process your website access request, please provide the following information.
If this form does not address your website questions, please email mesawebsite@uw.edu.
General Information
What is your relation to the MESA study?
I am new to MESA
I am an established MESA investigator
I am a MESA staff member working at an active MESA site
For visitors new to MESA:
MESA is collaborative in nature and offers multiple routes for accessing study data.
Researchers who would like to establish a collaboration with MESA Investigators should proceed by identifying an established investigator with similar research interests who would be willing to serve as Sponsor. This approach is recommended when the researcher has a clear idea of the research aims/hypotheses, intent to publish in a peer reviewed journal, and desire to include MESA Investigators as collaborators. A manuscript proposal would be required to be submitted for MESA Publications Committee review, a requisite Data Distribution Agreement would need to be completed by the researcher's institution, and then data would be obtained directly from MESA Coordinating Center. If this scenario applies to you and you need assistance identifying appropriate MESA collaborators, please send an e-mail to
wcraigj@uw.edu
describing your interest in collaborating with MESA.
For researchers who would like access to MESA data without direct collaboration with MESA Investigators, would like to take a more exploratory approach, or require supervision/mentoring
(such as students)
, we typically recommend accessing MESA data via one of the following Public Access data repositories.
BioLINCC
dbGaP
If your needs are met with the data available at BioLINCC or dbGaP, it is not necessary to complete this form.
